The Palacio das Artes is across
Avenida Afonso Pena from the conservatorio. They sponsored free concerts
every now and then. One Sunday it was the symphony orchestra.
It was not easy for musicians to perform for very young people. One toddler waved a stuffed toy and ran around on the hard floor, causing a slow beat in the excellent acoustics of the grand theatre. Another more advanced three-year old walked quietly, waving a mobile phone to record video footage. Painted from movement studies drawn at the concert. |
