Painted from the platform near the Isasmelt furnace at the copper smelter, Mount Isa Mines.
The nearest pot of molten copper, was matte that had just been removed from the rotary holding furnace and was about to be poured into one of four converters. Painted on site, wearing appropriate safety gear including respirator. |
